Privacy policy

Gameludo is a free game with no account and no sign-up. This page explains what data is used when you visit the site, by whom and why.

Who runs the site

The site is published by Cyril (see the legal notice). For any question about your data, write to bartzcyril@gmail.com.

What we do not collect

  • There is no account, no sign-up and no form.
  • We never ask for your name, email address or age.
  • We do not use any audience measurement tool.
  • The fonts are hosted on the site itself: your browser does not contact Google Fonts.

Saving your game

So that you can resume a game later, the site stores its state in your browser's local storage: your colour, the position of the pawns, the turn number and the date of the save. It also stores a few display preferences there.

This information never leaves your device: we cannot access it and it is not sent to anyone. It is deleted when the game ends, when you click "Restart the game", or when you clear the site's data in your browser.

This save is only used for the game you are playing, so it does not require your consent.

Advertising

The site is free thanks to Google AdSense ads.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Your consent. On your first visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a message lets you accept, refuse, or choose purpose by purpose and partner by partner. This message is provided by Google and certified under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF). The full list of advertising partners is available in it.

If you refuse, Google may show non-personalised or limited ads. The game works exactly the same.

Changing your mind. The "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page reopens this message at any time.

Turning off personalised ads. You can also do this in Google's ad settings, and for other ad networks on youronlinechoices.eu or aboutads.info.

Google acts as an independent controller of the data it processes. Find out more: how Google uses information from sites that use its services. This data may be transferred to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. As with any website, GitHub logs visitors' IP addresses for security purposes. See GitHub's privacy statement.

Children

The age from which a child can consent to cookies on their own depends on the country (15 in France, 13 to 16 elsewhere in Europe). If you are under that age, ask a parent before accepting advertising cookies, or refuse them: the game remains fully available.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the "Manage cookies" link.

We do not hold any personal data about you ourselves, apart from the emails you send us. For advertising data, you can also contact Google directly.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. In France, this is the CNIL.

Changes

This page may change, for example if a new service is added to the site. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
